With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joyce Ann Rodewald of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joyce Ann left this world on February 5, 2025 at the age of 78, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Quittschreiber and Ella Quittschreiber (Ziemann); and her siblings, Donald, Harold Quittschreiber and Janet Reiling.
She is survived by: her husband David Rodewald of Paul's Lutheran Church; her children, Carol Anderson (Steven) of Detroit Lakes, MN and Kevin Rodewald (Tiffany) of Perham, MN; her grandchildren, Tyler, Samantha, Jadon, Breahna, Jaelyn, Kenzlee and Bricker; her great grandchildren, Gabriel and Penelope; and her siblings, Alice Berg, Vernon Quittschreiber (Bernadette) and Richard Quittschreiber (Mary). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the West Kjos Funeral Home Cremation Services (900 Summit Ave, Detroit Lakes, MN 56501). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (1100 Lake Ave, Detroit Lakes, MN 56501).
