We are sad to announce that on November 14, 2020, at the age of 98, Jerome Matter of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, born in Wanda, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Matter and Ruth Matter (Frantz); his siblings, Ralph, Linus, LaVonne Jacobson and Aileen Melis; his siblings-in-law, Joyce Matter, Jack Melis and Leo Steffl; his son-in-law Warren Seykora; and his great grandchild Hudson Seykora.
He is survived by: his wife Mary C. Dunn of Detroit Lakes; his children, Vicki Okeson (Orrin) of Detroit Lakes, Sharon Seykora of Fargo, ND, Connie Motteberg (David) of Gary, MN and Jerry Matter (Nancy) of Detroit Lakes; his siblings, Jim Matter (Betty) of Callaway and Cleo Steffl of Detroit Lakes; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Matter of Hopkins, MN.. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren (with one on the way), and 1 great great-grandchild.
Detroit Lakes, MN, died Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Ecumen-Emmanuel Nursing Home as a result of the Covid Virus.
