She was predeceased by: her parents, Thorvald Thompson and Tina Thompson (Billet); her husband Gerald G. Sloan; and her siblings, Harry, Lloyd, Thea Gullekson, Marion Anderson and Myrtle Knutson.
She is survived by: her children, Marlo (Teri) of Detroit Lakes, Kathy Sloan of Moorhead and Dallas (Diane) of Barron, WI; and her sister Gladys Boril of Virginia, MN. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
