He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Ahles and Katherine Ahles (Kleis); his wife MaryAnn; and his brothers, Ervin and Leonard.
He is survived by: his former wife Mary Ann Blattenbauer; his children, Barbara Brehm (Paul) of Waubun and Michael Ahles (Yvonne Bakken) of Detroit Lakes, MN; his grandsons, Scott Brehm (Tammy) of Waubun and Brett Brehm (Kelsey) of Waubun; his great grandchildren, Faith Haspel, Maverick Brehm, Taya Brehm, Karidee Lefebvre, Cheslyn Brehm and Tyce Brehm; his sister Madeline Benson (Jerome) of Waubun; and his siblings-in-law, Olene Ahles of Waubun, Colleen Blattenbauer of Waubun and Daniel Blattenbauer of Bemidji, MN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Following all Covid-19 safety protocols, social distancing will be practiced, and all must wear a mask to participate.
