He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandmother Anna Koppang; and his children, Julie Sanders (Bob Merritt) of Detroit Lakes, MN, Pamela Sanders (Bruce Thompson) of Dubois, WY, Nancy Sanders of Bozeman, MT and Hal Sanders (Ronda) of Bemidji, MN.. He was also cherished by 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
