He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Gilbertson and Mabel Gilbertson (Anderson); his wives, Dorothy Gilbertson (Erickson) and Marlene Gilbertson; his children, Chad and Lisa; and his siblings, Ruth Kloeppel, Oscar Gilbertson, Thora Theisen, Alice Moench, Evelyn Anderson, Charles Gilbertson, Lawrence Gilbertson and Jerome Gilbertson.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela Vogt, Stephen Vogt (Eva), Paul Vogt, Donna Moffett (Mark), Jim Gilbertson (Heidi) and Tammy Gilbertson; his grandchildren, Billy, James, Lorena, Brandon, Megan, Jason, Katherine, Casey, Paul, Chelci, Kody, Levi and Izaak; and his sisters, Myrtle Kittelson, Gladys Hammill (Dick) and Dorothy Peterson (Larry). He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
