Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Georgina Louise Caspers of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, who passed away at the age of 99, on January 22, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Polda and Anna Polda (Safar); her husband Amor Caspers; her son Steven; her sisters, Mildred Olson and Beulah Jirava; her sister-in-law Nita Polda; and also Gilbert Polda.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Caspers of Strawberry Lake, MN, Donovan Caspers of Mountain Home, ID and Eloise Luhm (Michael) of Portage, WI; her daughter-in-law Sue Caspers of Detroit Lakes, MN; her grandchildren, Andy Caspers (Nicole), Mike Caspers, Sarah Luhm and Nicole Luhm; and her great grandchildren, Zoey, Emma, Abby, Lydia and Simon. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (1043 Lake Ave, Detroit Lakes, MN 56501). A Mass will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers or plants, the family kindly requests donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Jean's memory.
