It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elton Edwin Hilliard (Detroit Lakes, Minnesota), born in Fort Hood, Texas, who passed away on September 20, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel Hilliard (Oien) and Elroy Hilliard; his wife Beth (Evans); and his brothers, Dennis and Erwin.
He is survived by: his children, Bambi Tyler (Jeff), Ivory (Kate), Elton, Charles and Kara George (Jordan); his grandchildren, Caitlyn, Mazie Tyler, Iyassu, Emanuel Oien and Salem George; his siblings, Steve (Sandy), Marvin (Debbie), Linda Atherton, Lorraine Larson (JR), Larry (Vicki), Wayne, Earl (Laura) and David (Dinah); his sisters-in-law, Elaine and Linda; his close friend Jodi Oien; and also Joshua Oien (Alem).
