He is survived by: his wife Winnie Flatau; his children, Carey Ulschmid (Marlene), Carmen Behm (Mike), Kim McIlwain (Tim), Keela Cottew and Kyle Ulschmid (Nora Gale); and his siblings, Eugene (Connie), Virginia Thompson (Robert) and Rose Pitzel. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
