He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Grimley and Laura Grimley (Johnson); his former wife Ruth Ann; his siblings, Marlene Kjelvik (Norm) and Larry Grimley; his parents-in-law, Roy, Mary Richards, Peter and Margaret Vigness; and his siblings-in-law, Darlene Deinhart (Meryln), Cal Eggers and LeRoy Richards.
He is survived by: his son Marty Roy (Lynne); his wife Donna; his children, Pam Stevenson (Jeff) and Sandy Christianson (Greg); his grandchildren, Josh Grimley, Kealey Grimley (Julia Williams), Tylan Grimley (Chrissy), Amber Flermoen (Steven) and Hayden Christianson; his great grandchildren, Kovi Grimley and Kallum Grimley; and his grandchildren, Shirley "Sue" Eggers, Deb Maas (Ray), Ervin Vigness (Jane) and Hazel Grimley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
