We are sad to announce that on January 24, 2024, at the age of 74, Clayton Emil Schott (Detroit Lakes, Minnesota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Schott and Frieda Schott; his in-laws, Herbert and Agnes Torbenson; his grandson Torben Duffy; his siblings-in-law, Sharon O'Gorman (Jim), Darwin Nill, Norbert Steckler, Floyd Meidinger and James O'Gorman; and his brother Floyd Mittelstedt.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Torbenson; his children, Rebecca Duffy (Keith) and John Schott (Jamie); his granddaughters, Cecilia and Lydia Duffy; and his siblings, LuGail Hamel, Diana Nill, Nicki Meidinger and Wesley Mittelstedt (Betty).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to Trinity Lutheran Church or the Detroit Lakes Noon Rotary Club.
