“I was a neighbor kid growing up 3 miles away. One memory was sledding down Stenseth hill to ice on a damed up waterway. We also ice skated there. Sunday afternoons were filled with adventure. John Andvik would bring his horse Spud, Lyle Andvik would with his horse Chief and Charley would come with a buggy pulled by his horse Inky. I would hitch aride in the buggy next to Charlie. A race would always convene with Charlie whipping hard Inky. Inky would kick back.. Lyle and Chief won most .”

“Very fond memories of Charles we were neighbors he worked for us in the summer. He would ride his horse Inky to work, one day after a rain Charles came walking across the field leading Inky all covered in mudd Inky had stumbled and over they went.
