He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Merry and Anne Merry; his wife Karen; his daughter Denise Merry Miller; his grandson Kelly Olson; and his siblings, Allen (Jean) and Sharyn Franzinelli (Richard).
He is survived by: his children, Lynda Merry (Tom Weiss), Chuck Merry (Cheryl), Sue Fibranz (Lance), Laura Kragness (Scott) and Josie Robinson (Shawn); his grandchildren, Nick Merry (Amber), Levi Merry, Cole Fibranz, Kate Kragness, Anna Kragness, Lucas Robinson and Davis Robinson; and his brother Roger Merry. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to The Boys and Girls Club of Detroit Lakes.
