It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Gillie (Detroit Lakes, Minnesota), born in Hatton, North Dakota, who passed away on July 6, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Berton and Natalie Johnson, Sr.; her significant other Gary Gillie (John Bartos); and her brother Berton Johnson, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Jeanette Beiwinkler (Ron) of Mansfield, OH; her grandchildren, Isaac, Carly, Alexis (Tyler), Cherie of Wahpeton, ND and Michael Gillie (Shelli) of Hawley, MN; her great grandchildren, Kirsten (Alex) and Kaitlyn; her sister-in-law Carol Ustipak; and also Bruce Johnson.

The family asks in lieu of memorials to make donations to Hospice of the Red River Valley.
