He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Meyer and Alice Meyer (Tweeton); his siblings, Charles Meyer and Glenna Faye; his brother-in-law Allen Fitzgerald; his parents-in-law, Irene "Sally" and Ralph "Pete" Harthun; and his siblings-in-law, Marvin Harthun, Jeff Kilde, David Thompson and Colette Kilde.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy of Dent; his children, Kurt Meyer (Jean Sauser) of Dent, Eric Meyer of Dent and Sara Meyer (Mark Gonzagowski) of Cottage Grove, MN; his grandchildren, Mylissa, Bryan Byholm of Redwing, MN and Matt Sauser of St. Paul, MN; and his siblings-in-law, JoAnn Meyer of Dent, Marian Thompson of Audubon, MN, Barb Harthun of Underwood, MN, Douglas Harthun (Judeen) of New York Mills, MN and Julie Bakken (Gaylon) of Fergus Falls, MN. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; special adopted sons, daughters, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
