He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Trites and Ieleen Trites (Ott); his grandparents, Lewis, Ella Trites, Harvey and Carrie Ott; his parents-in-law, John and Lenora Andersen; and his nephew Lance Barry.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce R. Andersen of Dent; his children, Carissa Trites of Frazee, Brent of Fergus Falls and Darin of Frazee; his grandchildren, Maggie, Ben and Charlie Trites; his sister Cheryl Barry (Dan); and his brothers-in-law, Roger Andersen (Pam) and Jeff Andersen.
Memorials preferred to Silent Vale Cemetery, American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
