He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Silbernagel and Gertrude Silbernagel (Lederman); his wife Arleen Sazama; and his son-in-law Mike Schultz. He is survived by: his children, Debra Schultz, Gary Silbernagel (Kimberly), Dale Silbernagel (Merri) and Nancy Pederson (Mark); and his grandchildren, Gary Silbernagel Jr., Joe Silbernagel, John Schattschneider Jr., Erik Silbernagel, Mark Pederson Jr., Michael Pederson, Adam Pederson, Tonya Japor, Shauna Silbernagel, Holli Schattschneider, Charissa McGriff and Bethany Zinken.
A prayer was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 7:15 AM and from 7:15 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (36963 MN-108, Dent, MN 56528). Visitation was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A rosary was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 7:15 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Cemetery (36963 MN-108, Dent, MN 56528).
