He is survived by: his significant other Pearl Sandbakken of Boyd, Minn.; his children, Kevin Knop (Cheri), Neil Knop, Pam Nemes (Paul), Deb Sweeney (David), Sheila Knop LaPlant and Nancy Eaddy (Brad); his sister Marlys Eggen (John); his grandchildren, Sandra Palm (JD), Nathan Knop (Melinda), Jonathon Knop, Jackie Couette (Nate), Annie Knop, Katie Durnin (Todd), Justin Sweeney, Chelsea Nieland, Ashley Nemes, Candice Nemes, Tristan LaPlant (Rachel) and Carly LaPlant; and his great grandchildren, Simon, Clara Palm, Jonah, Selah Knop, Tucker, Cooper, Graylie Couette, Addie Hunt, Louie Durnin, Madilynn and Raiden Nieland. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
