He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Gray and Gladys Gray (Peddycoart). He is survived by: his wife Florence "Bev" Maghan; his sons, Russell Gray (Kathy) of Augusta, GA, Clare Gray (Patsy) of Hickory, NC and Darian Gray (Jeanine) of Savage; and his brother Milo Gray (Arlue) of St. Croix Falls, WI. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
