He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Peterson and Hazel Peterson (Shaff); and his wife Lorraine. He is survived by: his son Gary Peterson (Diane) of Elk River; his grandchildren, Timothy Peterson (Sarah) of Eagan, MN and Kari Peterson (Bridger Smith) of Maple Grove, MN; and his sister Vivian Gibbs of Verndale, MN.
