He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Shankle and Emma Shankle (White); his siblings, Carl, Murvin Shankle and Doris Wood; and his great great grandchild Ethan Cottrell.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Kuchel; and his children, Todd Kline (Kendra Peterson) of Argos, Ray Jr. (Linda Busa), April Richardson (Tim) of St. Cloud and Leslie Shankle of Melrose Park, IL. He is also survived by four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
