He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd "Bud" Smith and Jeanette Smith (Ruoko); his sisters, Peggy Modler and Pam Smith; and his granddaughter Noelle Henline.
He is survived by: his wife Judi; his children, Adam Smith (Denise), Ali Wallace (Kyle), Josh Henline (Nedra), Toby Smith (Ann) and Abby Smith; his grandchildren, Jesse (Josie), Justin (Noelle), Brennan, Bella, Will, Cara, Elsie, Alaina, Pearl, Fletcher, Kaylee, Jillian and Mason; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Robert; and his siblings, Susan, Bob (Marianne), Rich (Mary), Maureen and Janet. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
