He is survived by: his father Tom Leino; his stepmother Kary of Crosby; his daughter Alice; the parent of his child Britta Nelson of Brainerd; his brother David of Duluth; his stepsisters, Jessi Turney and Kiana Dusek; his grandparents, Bill and Edna Everson of Brainerd; his aunts and uncles, Lynda Everson (Steve Karels) of Brainerd, Rich and Lynn Leino of Deerwood; and his cousins, Jessica Jones, Janine Berg, Elizabeth Everson and Erica Goff.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be given to his daughter for her future education.
