He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Krause and Kathryn Krause; his siblings, Elroy, Marion, Marge, Maxine and Mary Agnes; his daughter-in-law Kristi Hoff Krause; and his grandson Adam Michael Sandretzky.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Barott Krause; his children, Gary Krause (Liz Scarlett), Sandra Krause, Janet Sandretzky (Michael), Nancy Friedrichs (Rich), Kristina Rashedi (Ramin) and John Joseph Krause; his grandchildren, Peter Krause, William Krause, Katie Hobday, Melissa Martini Laughlin, Jack Friedrichs, Lindsey Sandretzky, Ayla Sandretzy, Isaac Krause, Noah Krause, Arianna Rashedi and Sam Rashedi; and his great grandchildren, Angiulo Damiani, Kameron Krause, Kiona Krause, Ben Hobday, Jon Hobday, Finley Rousu, Connor Laughlin, Emma Laughlin and Taylor Laughlin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to St. Vincent DePaul or the Cuyuna Range Food Bank (218-546-7444).
