He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Everett Smith and Jeanne Smith (Scavo); his children, Jesse Smith (Tami) of Deerwood and Celina Smith of Forest Lake; and his siblings, Leslie Smith (Julie) of Mansfield, OH, Alan Smith of Cuyuna, Daniel Smith of Brainerd, Patrick Smith of Roseau, David Smith of Olivia, Lynn Nilson (Mark) of Ogilvie, Timothy Smith, Marianne and Nancy Smith. He was also cherished by four grandchildren.
