He was predeceased by: his parents, Mina Doty and Earl Conzit Archibald; and his siblings, Maxine Larson, Mary Jane Diaz, Ethel Archibald and Carlton Archibald.

He is survived by: his wife Sandy; and his sister Karen Kretlow (Bob). He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
