We are sad to announce that on November 11, 2020, at the age of 79, Bruce Nelson of Deerwood, Minnesota, born in Brainerd, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Nelson and Veronica Nelson (Filla); and his brothers, Robert, Merlin "Kip" and Douglas "Dick" Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Kelly Nelson (Jill) of Gilman, MN, Louis Nelson (Carrie) of Fruita, CO, Kristy Driver (Mike) of Fruita, CO and Andrea Hedges (Keith) of Great Falls, MT; his stepchildren, Reed Leonard (Melissa) of Rochester, Valerie Leonard (Patrick Jones) of St. Louis Park and Michelle Shuda (Brock) of Arlington; his siblings, Dr. Gerald Nelson of Crosby, James Nelson of Crosby, Wayne Nelson (Mary Ann) of Buffalo, Veronica Schemmel of Grand Rapids, MI and Scena Proodin of Crosby; and his grandchildren, Morgan (Rachel), Mallory, Tori, Maci, Alex, Ava and Ella. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.
