It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Viola Eleanor Bumgarner of Deer River, Minnesota, born in Nevis, Minnesota, who passed away on October 29, 2022, at the age of 108, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Walsh and Gertrude Walsh (C. J. "Tiny" Bumgarner); her son Daniel Bumgarner; and her siblings, Lyle Walsh, Donald Walsh, Ethel Custer and Raymond Walsh.
She is survived by: her son Tim Bumgarner (Terry); her brother Larry Walsh (Joyce); and her grandchildren, Marc Bumgarner (Tammy), Susan Callies (David), Lisa Reinke (Joe), Mariesa Sun Saenz and Carrie Bumgarner McLeod (Christopher).
Memorials preferred to Deer River United Methodist Church or Deer River Food shelf.
