He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Lyle; his wife Lynn Berry (Moler); his children, Michael Kite, Jason Hawker (Jessica), Eric Berry (Jennifer), Paul Berry (Autumn), Adam Berry (Pam), Kimberly Serich (John) and Lisa Sutherland (Larry); his stepchildren, Lisa Phernetton (Pat) and James Holmstead; and his sister Arlene Berry Mac Donald. He was also cherished by 21 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to American Legion Auxiliary unit 122.
