He is survived by: his sons, Robert (Vicki), Jeffery, Craig (Kasey) and Jason (Jaime); his grandchildren, Emily Herschbach (Steven), Benjamin, Jacksen, Zachary, Ryan, Eva, Nicholas Dunnell, Hannah Benson (Shawn) and Levi Ross; his great grandchildren, Madelyn, Jacob Herschbach and Christopher Benson; and his siblings, Gary, David (Nancy), Karen Panchot and Michele Shull (Larry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
