He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Bertram and Annie Bertram (Paulley); and his siblings, Jerry, Ervin, Kenneth Bertram, Beulah Foix and Judy Pitschka.
He is survived by: his daughter Kim Emerson (Larry) of Deer River, MN; and his sister Margaret Curtiss. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
