It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lily Mae Gullickson of Deer River, Minnesota, who passed away on March 27, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Barnes and Gladys Barnes (Villeneuve); her husband Melvin Henry Gullickson; her siblings, Lloyd Barnes, Robert, Katherine Mann, Charlotte Gullickson and Marcia Parks; her sons, Steven, Mark and Scott Brisson; and her great grandchild Shelbie Mae.
She is survived by: her children, Micheal and Cheryl; her grandchildren, Kevin, Steve, Jason Miller (Nikki), Matt (Shelly), Brent Miller and Kari Schultz (Todd); her great grandchildren, Hayley, Kyleigh (Brady), Amaiah, Tygh (Taylor), Hannah, Tia, Wyatt, Landon, Mahala, Avery, Lilia and Kailiannah; her great great grandchildren, Lorenzo, Aviella and Zeno; her siblings, Jack Barnes and Collette Barnes; and her siblings-in-law, Richard "Dick" Gullickson, Donny Parks, Laura "Cushe" Barnes and Darlene Gullickson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethany Lutheran Church (33297 MN-6, Deer River, MN 56636). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
