He is survived by: his wife Janice Hetrey; his children, Carina Frits of Deer River, Jennifer Novak (Danny) of Foley and Tim Frits (Kathryn) of Deer River; his grandchildren, Davin, Ethan, Nolan Novak, Isabella, Landon and Dawson Frits; and his siblings, Bruce Frits (Kathy), Marc Frits, Robin Frits (Lou) and Gretchen Creamer (Alan).
