He is survived by: his wife Lou Ann; his children, David Dirks (Paula), Gayle Cooper (Mark) and Sara Winkler (Matt); his sister Valoris Pommerenck (Gerald); his grandchildren, Brooke, Brenna, Brady, Dan, Tyler, Jazmine, Kylie, Lucas and Caitlyn; and his great grandchildren, Adlyne, Hunter, Cecelia and Archer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
