He was predeceased by: his wife Julie Emerson; his parents, Virgil Emerson and Rose Emerson; and his sister Candy Emerson. He is survived by: his daughter Emily Amy (Colten); his stepdaughters, Amy Perrington (Jake), Sandra Risberg (Mike) and Deanne Launert; his sisters, Bonnie DeLare, Jane Pihlaja, Crystal Bukowski (Roger), Cindy Dowling and Kathy Beckman (Lester); and his grandchildren, Andrea Engen, Jesse Horner, Jack Perrington, Lee Perrington, Ella Amy, Jameson Amy and Julia Amy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.
