He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Donna; his sons, David John, Douglas and Daniel; his parents, Art and Marie; his sister Shirley Heaton (Brent); his son Derek; his brother Bruce; and his son Rajala Lumber. He was also cherished by brother/sister-in-laws, nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carroll Funeral Home (314 Main Ave E, Deer River, MN 56636). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church (601 NW 2nd St, Cohasset, MN 55721).
