He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Paatela of Deer River, MN; and his children, Brenda LaBeach of Deer River, MN, Jeff Paatela (Cheryl) of Rosemount, MN and Jeremy Paatela (Leanna) of Buffalo, MN. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
