It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Arnold Lauer of Deer River, Minnesota, who passed away on November 17, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Lauer and Lydia Lauer; his son Bill Lauer; his siblings, Robert Lauer, Marian Murphy, Tharcella Haehn and Bill Lauer (Linus); and his grandsons, Tomas Lauer and Shane Golden.
He is survived by: his wife Susie Lauer; his children, Deb Lauer (Jim Hunt), Joan Golden (Tim), Doug Lauer (Carol), Mark Lauer (Mary) and Chris Lauer (Anissa); his daughter-in-law Deb Kill; his stepsons, Jeff Helmbrecht (Christina), Dan Helmbrecht (Beth) and Darryl Helmbrecht (Jennifer); and his sister Ruth Triplett. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of sending flowers, the family request that people make donations in support of St Mary's Hospice-Itasca Team Essentia Health or their favorite charity.
