He was predeceased by: his mothers, Frances "Frank" Cameron and Nettie Charlotte Truax (Russell); and his siblings, Charlotte Mickelson, Melvin Truax, Laura Barnhart, Maurice Truax, Loma Snell and Allen Truax.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Truax; his children, Sandra Hoffmann (John), Gail Bronson (David), Vincent Truax (Mari) and Mark Truax (Jeannie); his sister Norma Snell; and his sister-in-law Edie Truax. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
