He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Thielbar-Witte; his son Kent Witte; his sisters, Eleanor Foley and Marjorie Young; his former wife Phyllis Witte; and his daughter-in-law Linda Witte (Albert).
He is survived by: his children, Albert Witte of Avon, Dawn (Peter Loken) of Lancaster Pennsylvania, Bobbye (Duane Lyman) of Vail, Arizona and Carneth (John Mucha) of Faribault. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
His Lord & Savior December 8, 2021 due to complications from COVID, in Tucson, Arizona where he spent his winters.
