It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Northup of Deephaven, Minnesota, born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on August 3, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife JoAnn; his parents, Mary and Maurice; and his son Pat. He is survived by: his children, Sue Knight (Tom), Ann Simms, John Northup (Jean) and Jim Northup (Biz); his daughter-in-law Maria Nardone; his grandchildren, Megan Gehrman (Jason), Amy Heyde (Philip), Ryan Northup, Lindie Northup, Katie Bolen (Patrick) and Keegan Northup; and his great grandchildren, Justin, Ava Gehrman and Wylder Heyde.
