He was predeceased by: his father Jerry Mayer; his son Jonathan; and his mother-in-law Joann Luukkonen. He is survived by: his mother Marge Mayer; his wife Angie Mayer; his daughters, Brenna Mayer and Ally Mayer; his siblings, Lisa Vart (Gordon), Dan Mayer (Teri) and Jill Skarsten (Brian); his father-in-law Roy Luukkonen; his in-laws, JoLynn Davis (Jeff) and Matt Luukkonen (Jennifer); and his nieces and nephews, Cassidy, Mason, Georgia, Jackson, Dan, Samone, Brailee, Myracle, Evan and Rylan.
