He is survived by: his wife Patti Joe Claffey (Smith); his children, Cole Claffey of St. Louis Park and Katie Joe Claffey (Zachary Rohr) of Hastings; and his siblings, Kathleen Blaschko of New Prague, Margaret Smith (Francis) of Le Center, Colleen Schrom of Maple Grove, John Claffey (Ann) of Le Center, Patricia Hutton (Chip) of Eden Prairie, Robert Claffey (Debbie) of Le Center, Francis Claffey (Ann) of Easton, WA and Lori Anderson (Pete) of Prior Lake. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
