Gretchen Bauer Peppin Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 28, 2021, at the age of 61, Gretchen Bauer Peppin of Dayton, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Schmiesing and Arline Schmiesing (Blomquist); and her daughter Hannah. She is survived by: her former husband John Bauer; her husband Mike Peppin; her children, Britta Bauer (Amanda), Matthew, Thomas, Joseph Peppin and Gina Horton (Scott); her grandchildren, Zaiden, Grace and Vivien; and her siblings, Susan Leske (Duane), Stephanie Kolbe (Doug), Linda Kraus (Larry), Tom Schmiesing, Mark Schmiesing (Karee), Lane Schmiesing (Jody), Scott Schmiesing (Tracey) and Kim White (Matt). She is also survived by extended family, and numerous friends.

We will celebrate Gretchen's life with donations given in her memory to Nora Church and the Alzheimer's Association.
