He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Powelson and Jeanne Powelson (Thompson); and his father-in-law Milton Russ. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Russ (Penny); his children, Julie Hutlman of Somerset, WI and Codi Kirkpatrick of Louisiana; his grandchildren, Courtney and Daniel; his great grandchild Tyler; and his siblings, Gregory Powelson (Jill), Connie Severson (Duane) and Judy Peters.
