Shelby Kay Borstad Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shelby Kay Borstad of Dawson, Minnesota, who passed away on November 29, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Beattie and Muriel Beattie (Shaffer); her husband David Borstad; her sister Karen Nederhoff; and her sister-in-law Melody Beattie.
She is survived by: her children, Zahn Klyberg of Appleton, MN and Diana Klyberg of Apple Valley, MN; her grandchildren, Christian, Aislynn, Logan, Jelisa, Prescott, Griffin and Toby; her siblings, Sheldon Beattie, Marsha Schutte (Mark) and Kim Beattie (Grace); and her brother-in-law Gary Nederhoff. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews extended family and friends.
Later in life, she spent many hours crocheting, and donated the majority of her items to charity.
