She was predeceased by: her husband Richard W. Bennett, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Richard Bennett, Jr. (Valerie), Susan Sefkow (Thomas), John Bennett (Barbara) and Barry Bennett (Mary Ellen); her brother Cliff Elver; and her sister-in-law Vivian Evans. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, their spouses and ten great-grand-children.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Hamline University or the Animal Humane Society in Ruthanne's memory are preferred.
