It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Lynn Fredlund of Dawson, Minnesota, born in Milbank, South Dakota, who passed away on October 21, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thompson and Theodora Thompson (Carlson); her daughter Theresa Schmig (Wilford Fredlund); her brother John Thompson; her brothers-in-law, William Diaz and Lee Fliss; and her close friends, Roselle and Fred Brockmueller.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Brooke Moorse, Kalie Wintheiser, Alyssa Olson, Kelsey Olson, Ava Witt, Brianna Alf, Melah Moorse, Gared Moorse and Collin Olson; her former husband Dennis Schmig; her daughter Rebecca; her husband Jeff Olson; her daughter Denise Kluess (Troy) of Shakopee, MN; her granddaughters, Alexandra Alf (Jeremy) and Cassandra Kluess; her son Nathan Schmig (Cherri) of Minneota, MN; her grandchildren, Ethan Long, Duncan Schmig, Laura Schmig and Kara Schmig; her daughter Becky Moorse (Greg) of Minneota, MN; her grandchildren, Brittany Moorse, Grant Moorse (Denaca), Garrett Moorse (Laura Stiles) and Grady Moorse (Kim Bloch); her daughter Ellie Fredlund (Jason) of Tyler, MN; her grandsons, Kaden Wintheiser and Kaleb Wintheiser; her stepson Jason Olson (Val) of Dawson, MN; her stepgrandchildren, Collin Olson, Alyssa Olson and Kelsey Olson; her stepdaughter Theresa Witt (Brent) of Bethel, MN; her stepgranddaughter Ava Witt; her great grandchildren, Brianna Alf and Melah Moorse; her siblings, Betty Campbell (Tom), Richard Thompson (Jane), Catherine Martenson (Dennis), Charlie Thompson (Christy), Jim Thompson (Peg), Dorothy Thompson, David Thompson (Nadine) and Allen Thompson (Myra); and her sisters-in-law, Cheryl Thompson, LaVonne Fliss, Gail Horton and Janice Olson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
