It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Alan Thompson of Dawson, Minnesota, born in Montevideo, Minnesota, who passed away on April 3, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Thompson and Irene Thompson (Miller); his father-in-law Orgean Storlien; his son Jordan Martinson; his sister Evelyn Kruschke; and his siblings-in-law, Raymond Gordon, Jean Thompson and Cindy Gordon.
He is survived by: his wife Kim (Storlien); his sons, Jamie (Heather Thompson) of Spicer, MN, Corey (Kristy Thompson) of Elko, MN and Nathan (Jesi Martinson) of Dawson, MN; his grandchildren, Griffin, Preston, Breck Thompson, Seth Thompson, Hunter, Matt, Paisley and Bella Martinson; his brothers, Clarence, Steve (Judy), Jeff (Ardyce) and Jon; his brothers-in-law, John Storlien (Jill), Mark Storlien (Kathy) and Loren Kruschke; and his mother-in-law Marian Storlien. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
