He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Mix and Leona Mix (Fosse); his in-laws, Burnell and Florence Brown; his brothers, Melvin and Richard; his sister-in-law Dawn Mix; and his niece Charity Mix.
He is survived by: his wife Eva Brown; his children, Joey Bloom (Dawn Schmitt) of Mineral Point, WI and Misty Nelson (Dan) of Dawson; his grandchildren, Ashley, Brianna, Samarah, Alexis, Skyla, Dawsen, Isaiah, Jerimiah, Ted and Jade; his siblings, Eugene Mix of Dawson and Murla Parrow (Ben); and his sister-in-law Darcy Mix of Montevideo. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
